The Website is intended for use only by persons residing in the United States, its territories, and possessions. Unless otherwise expressly stated in the terms and conditions of use for such websites, all such websites are not owned, operated or controlled by Sandlock and shall be governed by their own terms and conditions and privacy policy and not this Privacy Policy.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF PRIVACY POLICY

We may use cookies to monitor individual activity in aggregate to improve the Website and provide features that are tailored to your needs, including delivery of customized content and advertising. The information we gather may include IP address, user language, the operating system, browser type, the presence/absence of “flash” plug-ins, screen resolution, connection type, and information that identifies the cookie. 3. SPECIAL NOTE FOR PARENTS

SandLock Sandbox has developed its Website to be an enjoyable experience for children (and adults) of all ages. Sandlock recognizes that some younger children may not understand some of the information contained on the Website or how the website operates. That is the purpose of this Privacy Policy. Please discuss this statement with your children so that they will better understand how to use the Website. We recognize the need to provide further privacy protections with respect to personally identifiable information collected from children under 13 years of age (“children” or “child”). We do not intend to collect personal information about or from children without the consent of the child’s parent or guardian. On our Website, we offer many features, such as the Birthday Club and the Photo Album, which do not require a child to provide any personal information, however, the child’s parent or guardian may voluntarily provide such information e.g., the child’s name, gender, birthday, and photo, in order to sign up to receive discounts, gift cards, and other promotional materials to commemorate the child’s birthday, or to enter the child in a contest. Parents and guardians are advised that any personal information that they voluntarily enter in public forums (such as conversation pages, blogs, chat rooms, social community environments, profile pages, and other forums that do not have a restricted audience) may be available for public access. If personal information about your child has been submitted without your consent, please contact us to request that such information be removed. We will exercise commercially reasonable efforts to remove such information from our databases and storage areas; however, we are not liable for any consequences relating to such information.

SandLock Sandbox may collect and store personal information about children if it is submitted by the parent or guardian in connection with any of our website registrations. To determine who is younger than 13 years old and whether parental consent is required, we ask all users who wish to register to submit their date of birth. Those users that indicate they are less than 13 years of age denied registration. If provided by the parent or guardian, SandLock Sandbox may collect and store the following types of personal information about a child under 13: name, email address, parent’s or guardian’s name, and parent’s or guardian’s email address. Sandlock may also collect the child’s mailing address when necessary to fulfill a transaction, such as sending the winner of a contest or sweepstakes the awarded prize. SandLock Sandbox may also collect demographic information about a child such as the child’s date of birth, gender, and other preferences; and, combine such information with the child’s personal information. SandLock Sandbox will only collect this information if it is voluntarily submitted to us by the child’s parent or guardian.

4. VISIBILITY OF YOUR PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

We may provide users with the ability to search for other users of the Website. Utilizing such search functionality, other users may be able to view certain information about you [or your child], including your first name, the first initial of your last name, city and state, and photo, to the extent you have provided such information (collectively, your “Public Profile”). Information included within your Public Profile is information you have chosen to make public, and therefore will be viewed by others, so you need to consider carefully whether you are comfortable sharing such information.

We use this Non-Personal Information to monitor the effectiveness of the Website, to help personalize your online experience, and to consider potential improvements to the Website. Information that you provide in the restricted and public portions of the Website:If you wish to register with one of our websites or register a SandLock Sandbox product, you may be asked to supply personal information such as your full name, e-mail address, and (in the case of product registration) mailing address. We may also ask you to provide demographic information such as your birthdate, gender, the birthdates and genders of children in your household, the postal code and country in which you live, and information on products you own or of interest to you (collectively, “Personally Identifiable Information,” or “PII”). SandLock Sandbox uses such information to periodically contact you with product information news, special offers, and relevant announcements (including Website announcements) and to provide other exclusive benefits to those who register their products on our websites. From time to time, we may offer promotions or special opportunities on our Website. When you enter a promotion or respond to such an opportunity, we will require the submission of your name, email address, and postal address. We will use this PII for purposes of managing the promotion or opportunity in accordance with its rules and may share this information with our email and Website service providers. You may also elect to share, including, without limitation, other PII, such as your (and/or your child’s) name, age, gender, product reviews, personal stories, photos, and email address.   2. Account Information and Deactivation

Access to certain portions of the Website requires login and password information provided only to users who have registered (each a “Registered User”). You choose whether to create an account with the Website. As part of the registration process, you may be asked to provide your email address or register using your Facebook sign-in credentials. Currently, you can review and update your email address. We may provide users with the ability to modify, add or delete any other account information by signing into your SandLock Sandbox account and editing your account profile.] You may deactivate or delete your SandLock Sandbox account at any time by sending us an email to [email protected].

  1. Transactional Information from Online Store

Visitors purchasing goods through our online store will need to provide the following Personally Identifiable Information in connection with such purchase:

  • Name
  • Mailing Address
  • Phone Number(s)
  • Email Address
  • Credit Card Information: type of credit card, name on card, credit card number, validation number, and its expiration date. (“Transactional Information”).

Once the credit card information is submitted in an encrypted format to our third-party processing agent for payment processing, we do not retain your credit card information on our website. If you wish to make another purchase in the future you will need to re-enter this information.

6. OUR USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we receive about you in connection with the Website and features we provide to you. If you provide us your e-mail address or mailing address, we may send you information from time to time with information regarding us, our products, or our Websites that we think may be of interest to you. SandLock Sandbox may also use such information to periodically contact you with product information news, special offers, and relevant announcements (including website announcements) and to provide other exclusive benefits to those who register their products on our websites.

6.1. Use of Non-Personal Information

We use the Non-Personal Information collected through the Website for statistical purposes and for improving the functionality of the Website. This information may also be used to administer your participation in the Website including, without limitation, to troubleshoot and resolve problems with the Website.

6.2. Use of Personally Identifiable Information

We use PII collected through the Website for purposes of customizing your user experience, providing relevant information, and communicating with you about our products and activities. If you provide us your e-mail address or mailing address, we may send you information from time to time with information regarding us, our products, or our Website that we think may be of interest to you. SandLock Sandbox may also use such information to periodically contact you with product information news, special offers and relevant announcements (including Website announcements) and to provide other exclusive benefits to those who register their products on our websites. If you do not want to receive any newsletters, announcements, or marketing materials or other information about the Website, unsubscribe at any time by simply clicking the 'unsubscribe' link that we include at the bottom of every email that we send you. Please note that you cannot unsubscribe from certain correspondence from us, including messages relating to your account. If you do not wish to receive periodic mailings or emails, or telephone contact concerning our Website or our products or Websites, you may opt out of receiving such marketing or promotional communications by sending us a written request to the address listed below or unsubscribe at any time by simply clicking the 'unsubscribe' link that we include at the bottom of every email that we send you.

6.3. Use of Aggregate Data

We may use your PII (which has been anonymized) to create aggregate data. This aggregated information is not associated with any individual. SandLock Sandbox may use aggregated information from the website [and its participants] to improve the quality of the Website, for marketing the website, and for research purposes.

6.4. Use of Product Reviews

By submitting your review, you grant us permission to use, reproduce, publish and distribute your review (in whole or in part) online, in print, broadcast, and in other media now known or hereafter devised, in connection with our products advertising, promotion, marketing, sale and distribution, in perpetuity and throughout the world.

We reserve the right to remove any review of our products that, in our sole judgment, does not conform to the above guidelines.

7. DISCLOSURES OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may disclose your information to other users in accordance with this Privacy Policy. For more information on such disclosures, see the “Visibility of Your Personally Identifiable Information” section above.

We may, on occasion, hire other companies to provide services on our behalf. In those limited cases, we give those companies only the personal information they need to deliver the services, such as IP address or e-mail address. SandLock Sandbox’s practice is to require the companies to maintain the confidentiality of the information and to prohibit them from using the information for any other purpose.

Though we make every effort to preserve your privacy, disclosure of your information to third parties may occur in other situations such as: (i) responding to a subpoena, court order, or other such request; (ii) responding to a law enforcement agency's request or as otherwise required by law; and (iii) providing information to a third party if we file for bankruptcy, or there is a transfer of the assets or ownership in connection with proposed or consummated corporate reorganizations, such as mergers, acquisitions, or sales of business units. We take appropriate steps to manage the privacy of your PII [including Transactional Information] and the security of the Website. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any information that is disclosed online. We use the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), a security protocol that protects your credit card information. SSL Internet connections are encrypted, and thus protect all credit card information, including your name, address, and credit card number, so it cannot be read in transit. We use secure technology, privacy protection controls, and restrictions on employee access, to safeguard your personal information. We do not retain the credit card information after the transaction is completed.

We may provide links to other third party websites (including social networks), or access to or use of third-party programs, applications (“Apps”), devices, services, products, content, or technology (collectively, “Third-Party Technology”) through the Website solely as a convenience to you. However, such linking, access or use does not mean, and should not be interpreted to mean, that SandLock Sandbox endorses, is affiliated with, or makes any representations concerning such Third Party Technology. We neither review, nor control, nor are responsible for this Third-Party Technology. By linking to a third-party website, you will leave the Website. If you decide to link to, access, or use any of the Third-Party Technology, you do so entirely at your own risk. We shall not be liable for any consequences arising from linking, accessing, or using any such Third Party Technology. SandLock Sandbox Return Policy for Finished Products

Returned items must be in new condition with their original packaging and may be returned within 30 days from the purchase date. Items purchased for the holiday season may be returned through January 31st.

Refunds are only issued for the purchase price of the item(s) returned and any applicable sales tax in the original form of payment used to purchase the item. Shipping charges for both delivery and returns are not refundable. Please also note that this also applies to items received as gifts. If you return a gift, the purchaser will receive a refund in the original form of payment they used to make the purchase.

All returns require an RMA, Return Merchandise Authorization number, which may be obtained by contacting SandLock Sandbox Customer Service at (630) 963-9422.

Please be sure to use a secure shipping method to send the item, so that it may be tracked. SandLock Sandbox will not be responsible for items lost during shipping and cannot process your return until the item is received.

Once assembled with sand, a sandbox may not be returned, except when due to a defect. Sandbox accessories purchased as part of your order including umbrellas and additional seat kits in new condition may be returned or exchanged within 30 days from the purchase date.

Items purchased for the holiday season may be returned through January 31st.

Note: SandLock will only allow returns or exchanges on any stock or custom cover(s) that have manufactured defects. All returns must have an RMA number available by contacting SandLock at (630) 963-9422.

SandLock Sandbox charges a 15% Restocking Fee, plus all shipping costs and drop ship fees for returns or exchanges on individually purchased stock sandbox cover(s). All custom-made covers cannot be returned.

SandLock Sandbox Return Policy for Parts

Any replacement parts ordered online or over the phone with a representative are considered final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or returns on replacement parts.

Defective Product

We want you to be pleased with your SandLock Sandbox purchase. If you receive a product that is not functioning properly, please call our Customer Service Department at (630) 963-9422. Customer Service hours are 9:00 AM CST – 5:00 PM CST, Monday to Friday.

Cancellation/Changes to your SandLock.com Order

If you'd like to make changes to your order, you must do so within 1 hour from the time you submit your order by contacting SandLock Sandbox Customer Service at (630) 963-9422.

PLEASE NOTE - Order changes can only be made during Customer Service business hours. Customer Service hours are 9:00 AM CST – 5:00 PM CST, Monday to Friday. These changes include cancellation requests, address changes, upgraded shipping, or adding items to your order.

Shipping Information

All merchandise is shipped directly from SandLock ‘s warehouse located in Westmont, Illinois. Unless specified all shipments are processed as standard ground service and shipping times will be determined by each carrier and the zip code destination. Orders requiring next day, 2nd day, or expedited must be placed by calling customer service at (630) 963-9422 Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST. Shipments are sent out on the weekdays of Monday thru Friday only.

SandLock uses both UPS and FedEx Ground for shipments to United States destinations. Shipments outside of the contiguous United States require shipping rate quotes prior to placing an order. Contact SandLock for rate quotes at (630) 963-9422 Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST.

SandLock will ship to APO or FPO locations and may require additional shipping costs. Orders that contain a different shipping address from the billing address may be subject to review in which case the customer will need to be contacted. This can delay the shipping time.

Shipments to Canadian locations will be fulfilled out of Mississauga or Bolton and delivered by FedEx Ground or UPS.

Not all prices include charges for shipping and handling or taxes. Separate charges for shipping and handling will be shown on the invoice including any additional charges, duties, taxes, or fees for international shipments.
